I'm not going to lie to you. I dreamt of this recipe in my actual dreams. Guess what? It turned out GREAT. This is a delicious combination of ingredients and it is super nourishing to start your day off with. Did you know that cherries can prevent UV damage and are a great inflammation defender!? They also are known to reduce post-exercise pain which is super cool! So, this could make for a great post-workout breakfast!

Total time: 15 minutes
This recipe is dairy free, gluten free, and vegan.
Ingredients:
½ cup of oats
1 cup of almond milk
1 banana
7 frozen cherries
1 TBSP raw hazelnuts
1 TBSP almond butter
1 TBSP cacao nibs
Chia seeds
1 TBSP ground flax
½ TSP vanilla extract
½ TBSP brown sugar
1 TBSP cacao powder
Instructions:
1. Grab a small sized pot and put it on the stove. Have the stove on medium-high heat. Add the 1 cup of almond milk. Once it heats up add in the oats and stir.
3. After 2-3 minutes the milk should be absorbed by the oats and you can add the ground flax, brown sugar, cacao powder, and vanilla extract to mix and stir in.
4. Add the oats to a bowl and add the following toppings: banana, cherries, hazelnuts, almond butter, cacao nibs, and chia seeds. Enjoy!
