Are these waffles purple? Yes. I made them for Valentine's Day for my boyfriend and I and they were such a pleasant treat to enjoy together. However, these waffles aren't just for Valentine's Day, they can be enjoyed at any time. No need to make them purple either, that was just for fun! So, if you want to eat some delicious dairy free and gluten free dark chocolate waffles, keep reading! Let's get to it.

Portion: 3 waffles
Prep time: 10 minutes
Total time: 30 minutes
This recipe is dairy free, gluten free, and vegetarian.
Ingredients:
2 cups of @bobsredmill gluten free flour
1 ½ cups of @traderjoes almond milk
2 eggs @wholefoods
2 TSPs of vanilla extract
2 TSPs of baking powder
1 TBSP vegan butter
3 TBSPs brown sugar
¼ TSP salt
Top with raspberries, strawberries, banana, & maple syrup
Dark chocolate chips (DF optional)
Red food coloring optional
Instructions:
1. First, heat up your waffle maker and spray on baking spray.
2. Mix all of the ingredients together well. Pour in 1/2 cup of batter into the waffle maker. Add your desired amount of dark chocolate chips. Cook until crispy.
3. Top with raspberries, strawberries, banana and maple syrup. Enjoy!
